As it is National Feet Week, this CHOOSEDAY is all about feet!
Yes you did read that correctly 🤣
I am choosing my feet because we don’t do it enough and we also take them for granted on a daily basis… There are more than 50 bones, 60 joints and 200 muscles or ligaments in our feet and they work very hard for us. They provide a steady base for our body to perch on. They are shock absorbers. They propel our bodies in whichever direction we want to go, amongst so many other things. And in return what do we do for them? Not enough!! Especially in my case…
However, we can do a few simple things to look after our feet…
1. Wear correctly fitting shoes
2. Drink plenty of water
3. Try the “legs up the wall” pose after a long day or a hard workout
4. Roll a tennis ball (or similar) under your feet
5. When you wash your feet make sure you dry them thoroughly and add a bit of moisturiser.
6. Book a foot massage (part of our 60 minute and 90 minute intrinsic elemental massage) or a reflexology session! (Diane Wright Reflexology, Finding Balance with Vicky
and Christine Jackson Reflexology are my go-to reflexologists)!!
So whatever else you are choosing today, make sure you choose your feet, and show them some gratitude!! 👣🙌🏻🐉💚
