Be Fearless

This CHOOSEDAY is all about being fearless… With the super hunter moon energies bringing empowering and motivating energies with it, we are encouraged to prioritise and have the courage to be fearless!!

But what does it mean to be fearless? For me it is not to be without fear, for I believe that a little bit of fear motivates us to challenge ourselves. In Khoisan languages, indigenous to Southern Africa, they have a word n/um. Although, translations of this word vary dramatically, I like the version where there is no actual translation. It can mean just about anything! Love, hate, energy, happiness, fear. But when channelled in the right way our n/um becomes different. When our n/um is flowing, this is what we channel when we walk the fire. It teaches us to live in spite of our fear and not with it. It asks us to learn how to channel our fear and use it to our advantage rather than our detriment leading to a more harmonious life.

With the element of water flowing through the west (this may be different for others), it is the perfect balance for the fiery Aries moon and the ideal time to establish harmony in our lives 🔥🐉💚
