Friendship

This CHOOSEDAY is about friendship… It’s a funny old thing, friendship. We actually don’t need many friends to survive in this world. And, in my opinion, that’s a very good thing, as friendship comes with so many emotions and can sometimes feel like you’re on a rollercoaster!! It can be surprising, comforting, loving, nurturing, supportive, uplifting (amongst many others) and yet also disappointing, upsetting and even hurtful.

People who we think are going to be friends for life disappear and people who we think we would never be friends with in a million years, turn out to be the very best. And there are also some friends we hardly ever see or only message once in a blue moon, but we know they are friends all the same.

There is the old cliché that friends come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime, and we experience all three of those throughout our time on earth.

For those friends who touch our lives for a reason, be grateful for the lesson and move forward with new knowledge.

For those that are only there for a season, let them go with grace for they were not meant to be there for the long haul.

And for those who are there for a lifetime, treasure them, for they are very rare commodities. 🐉💚
