As it was Earth Day yesterday, this CHOOSEDAY is all about nature!!

For those that know me it’s no secret that I get an enormous amount from being out in nature, as do so many others. Spending time outside has been proven in many studies to be an antidote for stress reducing blood pressure and stress hormone levels, as well as enhancing immune system function, increasing self esteem and mood, to name but a few benefits!!

But what is it that makes us feel so good when we spend time with our Great Mother?

The Native American tribes believe that nature and man are not two separate things, but that man is an integral part of nature. It is a two-way relationship where man looks after nature and in turn, nature looks after man. An inseparable, entwined connection. So it only makes sense that if we are respectful and loving to our Great Mother that she will do the same for us… So what are you waiting for? Take a walk amongst the trees, sit by a river, dip your toes in the sea, float on a paddleboard in the middle of a lake, take a swim in cold water. Whatever it is that is accessible to you, do it! And see how it makes you feel 🐉💚
