No title CHOOSEDAY!

This CHOOSEDAY doesn’t really have a title. Mainly because I don’t think it needs one, but also, I didn’t want to confine or try to define what this CHOOSEDAY is all about!

I saw a quote the other day that really resonated with me and it reads like this: -

Someone asked me “why do you stop talking to some people without explanation?” I replied “Because those people know what they have done and I am not about to address anything to a grown person. They moved how they moved and I moved out of the way, respectfully.”

I too have been asked the same question recently. And although, uncomfortable and bumbling, I tried to be tactful and keep the peace and not place blame in my response, the truth is that I actually probably should have said exactly what the quote said.

When things become uncomfortable in relationships, we do not have to stay. If a relationship is no longer serving us, then we are absolutely entitled to walk away from it without explanation. If we feel like a person has been disrespectful or has hurt us in some way, why should we stick around for more? Similarly, if we feel like we no longer “fit” we can also leave.

We do not owe anyone anything. What we do owe is this. We owe it to ourselves to be surrounded with the best, the greatest, the most high-vibing, unconditional love that is going. After all, the energy of our tribe is what we imbibe! 🔥🐉💚
