Nourishment

CHOOSEDAY is here once again, and today I am choosing nourishment!

When we talk about nourishment, it can mean different things.

The dictionary tells us that nourishment is “the food necessary for growth, health, and good condition”. But what food are we talking about? Yes, of course we need to eat food to keep ourselves nourished. But there are other types of “food” that we require. We need to nourish our minds and souls as well as our bodies to keep us in balance…

But how do we go about this? Here are my top 10 tips: -

1. Eat healthy foods

2. Drink plenty of water

3. Spend time moving in Nature

4. Talk positively to yourself

5. Don’t watch the news!!! Watch positive things that make you feel good…

6. Find time for stillness, in whatever form that takes for you (reading, meditation, listening to or playing music…)

7. Be kind to those around you, then they will nourish you too!

8. Remove negativity (be it people, situations, energy, whatever it may be)

9. Spend time with people who excite you

10. Don’t deny yourself because of fear. You might be missing out on some very magical nourishing!!

And of course… make time for cake. There always has to be cake! 🧁🐉💚
