Spontaneity

This CHOOSEDAY is about another of my words for this year… Spontaneity. Although I’m getting much better, I’m still not great at being spontaneous. There usually needs to be some kind of plan.

But that got me thinking… What is it that stops us from being spontaneous?

Is it fear of the unknown?

Is it just because it’s more comfortable to know?

Is it the need to feel safe?

Is it the desire to be in control?

What if, by limiting ourselves with all of those things, we are missing out on something? What if by staying in our comfort zone we are overlooking a magical opportunity?

Because I don’t want to miss out on anything, this year I am choosing to be more spontaneous. Will you?
