The Eagle

I’ve had a couple of clients recently that have had the eagle visit them in journeys and reiki treatments so I thought I’d make this CHOOSEDAY all about the most majestic of birds…

The eagle, in Native American culture, is regarded as the strongest and bravest of all birds, and he is seen as the one closest to the Creator or Great Spirit. His feathers embody extraordinary power and are considered sacred medicine. The Eagle represents honesty, truth, majesty, strength, courage, wisdom and freedom. He protects the spirit and the body, representing health and wholeness of being. Known as the master of the skies, the Eagle is thought to be the messenger to the Creator or Great Spirit.

When the Eagle comes to visit, he brings with him the message of renewed life. He is, as I see him, the guardian of the East, the direction of spring, dawn and rebirth. When the Eagle takes flight, he swoops and soars and free-falls from great heights. It is his vision that allows him to do this fearlessly.

So when the Great Eagle comes to visit, know that you are blessed. New beginnings are coming. Step away and look at any situation as a whole with sharp eyes. Chanel his wisdom and truth to fearlessly step into the unknown with courage, strength and majesty. Know that you are destined for greatness and that the Eagle bestowed upon you a great honour 🦅🐉💚
