When we turn to the North, it is a time of wintering and grounding. The only one of the Four Directions to have duality. Not only is it a time of rest and looking inwards, it is also a time of hidden growth and inner change.

The North is where our dreams are. Along with the wisdom of our ancestors, we are reminded to search for our strength and resilience.

When we walk in the North, we rest in the womb of our Great Mother. We take the time to breathe deeply and focus on ourselves rather than the outside world. Although we might appear dormant, we are like a newly planted seed. Quietly changing and looking to germinate and grow. 🐉💚
