The Watchers

While I was away I came across The Watchers. They are an art installation mimicking the many standing stones that are found across Scotland. There is also a standing stone there with some words on it.

“Take a moment to behold

as still skies or storms unfold

warm your soul before you go

in sun, rain, sleet or snow.”

It really stopped me in my tracks… There, in the middle of the Cairngorms, 637 meters above sea level, whilst looking at a breathtaking view, it was there, carved in stone. The best piece of advice I’ve ever had…

Take a moment to behold!! It doesn’t matter if the sun is shining or if a storm is looming. Open your heart. Look within. Be grateful for what you have. It will set you up for whatever the universe has in store for you, no matter what that might be. Both good and bad!
