This CHOOSEDAY it’s all about being proud. Being proud of ourselves means to have an intense feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment for everything we have achieved and everything we are. It takes courage to be proud of ourselves because we have to recognise our strength and give ourself praise. But we also have to acknowledge when we perhaps haven’t been at our best. Possibly, one of the hardest parts of being proud of ourselves is actually recognising our own greatness.

As today is Armistice Day, this CHOOSEDAY is all about remembrance. 107 years ago today, at 11am, the fighting of the First World War ended. This was supposed to be the war the ended all wars, but as we know, this is not the case, and today there are still active conflicts worldwide.
